When we carry out a full service at Mill House Garage you can be sure that we do a comprehensive full service.
This includes removing all the wheel braking parts inspecting them and reassembling using the correct lubrication and rust prevention materials. This makes us somewhat different to most garages as normally it’s only a visual check of the brakes with the wheels on the car. This in turn allows the brakes to operate more efficiently and prevents premature wearing of the brakes.
If your vehicle is still under manufactures warranty we can carry out the service using the maker’s genuine parts and schedule thus not affecting your warranty.
When carrying out a service we always start by checking our online Autodata system for the correct service schedule and check all the items listed that coupled to the years of experience we have you can be sure that your vehicle is fully serviced and any extra faults are identified and you are advised of them.
MOT Testing
An MOT test is an annual assessment of a car’s safety, emissions and roadworthiness at the time of the test as required by law in the UK for any car which is three and more years old.
The MOT tests some important items on your vehicle to check that they meet the legal standards.
It isn’t the same as having your vehicle serviced and doesn’t check its general mechanical condition.
Mill House Garage is an authorised DVSA MOT testing centre for cars and light vans.
The test doesn’t cover the condition of the:
Engine, Clutch and Gearbox. It is a safety check to ensure it meets the criteria laid out by VOSA.
